The Mellloncollies, Goodbye Cruel World reviewed on Ink19!

Initially, I was so thrown off by their sound, that I hated this album. After a couple of listens, it has really grown on me and has become one of my favorites. Everybody with a love for 90’s alt-rock, like me, needs to have this album.

Pure pop that draws heavily from some of the classic pop artists from the 1980s and 1990s. The Melloncollies aren't trying to be ultra weird or ultra hip. Instead, the folks in this band just seem intent on offering ultra-hummable easily digestible pop from start to finish. Goodbye Cruel World spins like a non-stop string of radio hits. read more at babysue.com!

Consequence of Sound's David Buchanan, praises The Melloncollies 90's esque new record...

With indie flavor and ’90s alternative emotional strains, the band’s northern exposure tour could do us all some good. They claim to have been inspired by artists like acclaimed songwriters Elvis Costello and Jakob’s old man Bob Dylan. Read full post.
